Credit Where It is Due
I like to make photographs, and I enjoy being praised for what I have done. But God teaches a different attitude, one of thankfulness and humility. He pointed that out to me recently. I DO NOT MAKE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS ALONE. I didn't create the light, or the technology which makes photography possible. I didn't buy my camera, it was a gift from my husband. I didn't give myself the ability to see through the camera in order to make an image which others find pleasing. It is right to use what I have been given to the best of my ability, but it is wrong to take credit for what I have not done. God made the light, the elements which are used to manufacture the camera, and the world from which these images come. He has given me gifts: people to teach me, eyes to see with, and a brain to process information. I am thankful for these gifts. He deserves all the praise, not I.

what a beautiful state Idaho is! To look at the lake you are almost mesmerized, as your eyes follow the horizon and you look up at the mountains that appear. The sky is the brightest blue, too. We are glad you weren't driving, these pictures are a treat!
What exquisite captures! The beautiful blue sky, the still water and the reflections are just fantastic! And, yes, they are mesmerizing! Delightful! Hope you have a great weekend! Be sure and keep your camera at hand!!
You take my breath....!! Such a wonderful view and photos!! :) In fact it looks like Norway.. I had to enlarge all of them. The sky meets the sea/water in a way.. =)
oh dimple!..how nice to be the passenger and be able to take photos like this. was it warm enough to keep the window open? the water is as smooth as glass and the clouds are just a whisper reflecting on the vast blue mirror these pictures would look good on a calender dimple! great post!...love terry

Now, that's a blue sky! I haven't seen hat in so long -- was jsut jumping up and down when we had "some" peeking thru this week.

Oh wow, these are sooooo gorgeous!
Perfect is the key word! I love being a passenger but am so short, I rarely get a good photo without some part of the vehicle in it.
