I found this flower recently while on a walk.
Each blossom is very small, about 1/2 inch across.
I don't know what the plant is called,
but it is beautiful.

I don't know what it's called either but it is pretty. The B & W brings out it's features.

I'm in a black-and-white mood this weekend myself :)... refurbishing my kitchen tool drawer...taking out the ugly things and buying new b & w pieces :) Does that mean I have too much time on my hands?
Beautiful flower Louise, perfect in black and white. I really like how you put the actual measurements in the macro..that's a great idea because if you don't already know the flower it's hard to tell.
It's sheer delight when you spot an unexpected dainty flower... and this macro is pleasing in monochrome, Dimple.

Now Dimple let me ask you...do you have the same trouble as I do switching to black and white with a beautiful flower? I can photograph everything else and not miss the colors...except flowers!
