Credit Where It Is Due
Credit Where It is Due
I like to make photographs, and I enjoy being praised for what I have done. But God teaches a different attitude, one of thankfulness and humility. He pointed that out to me recently. I DO NOT MAKE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS ALONE. I didn't create the light, or the technology which makes photography possible. I didn't buy my camera, it was a gift from my husband. I didn't give myself the ability to see through the camera in order to make an image which others find pleasing. It is right to use what I have been given to the best of my ability, but it is wrong to take credit for what I have not done. God made the light, the elements which are used to manufacture the camera, and the world from which these images come. He has given me gifts: people to teach me, eyes to see with, and a brain to process information. I am thankful for these gifts. He deserves all the praise, not I.

Joy, you captured pure human joy here Dimple. Great shot.
The reason I used AdoramaPix in the first place is because they got the best reviews. Then again I already had an Adorama account. The sale is a good one. $8.99 for a $23.95 (or maybe it was $24.95 book is a steal). The sale price expires 8/10.
The hardest part of making a book is choosing and formatting the photos. LOL
Nicely done and isn't this such a typical sight these days...looking at a text or photo screen.
Very fun shot!

Whatever these three are looking at, it made them happy and you captured the moment, Dimple.
Great thought as well as photo in B&W.
It's obvious that they enjoy each other's company!

This is a lovely shot!
Precious!
My Shadows, have a good weekend!
This is a beautiful portrait - the B&W is wonderful as it is so evocative, with such feeling. I see members of a family together in a spirit of true love, and they enjoy the time together. A wonderful post!
A lovely capture with all young ones focused on enjoying a moment! Beautiful!
Excellent -- candid shots are the best and you obviously are very good at it. Lucky friend!

There is something so appealing about black & white photography.
You snapped this just at the right moment!
This is a great fun photo!
This is a very professional portrait.
Spontaneity off the scale!
Awesome family shot. Well done.
This picture is warming one's heart. The three look like happy friends enjoying some gadget.
I have only done this onetime, and I really did feel the pressure to at least come up with one good shot. Think I need a lot more practice before I try it again. Your family shot is beautiful. The expressions you were able to capture on their faces are wonderful. i know your friend must have been very pleased. G
You captured the look on their faces very well! They seem pleased to be looking at what I assume is a photo. :)
What a beautiful, happy photo! This is why I've never taken my family for one of those portraits at Sears. They could never capture us as well as a less formal "real-life" shot like this could.
It portrays family life and the union between sons with their mother. Beautifully caught.
