Credit Where It Is Due

Credit Where It is Due

I like to make photographs, and I enjoy being praised for what I have done. But God teaches a different attitude, one of thankfulness and humility. He pointed that out to me recently. I DO NOT MAKE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS ALONE. I didn't create the light, or the technology which makes photography possible. I didn't buy my camera, it was a gift from my husband. I didn't give myself the ability to see through the camera in order to make an image which others find pleasing. It is right to use what I have been given to the best of my ability, but it is wrong to take credit for what I have not done. God made the light, the elements which are used to manufacture the camera, and the world from which these images come. He has given me gifts: people to teach me, eyes to see with, and a brain to process information. I am thankful for these gifts. He deserves all the praise, not I.

There are 3 sets of three that I can identify...
How many do you see?

Thrown. But do find it an arresting picture.

I can't even get that many, but I never was much good at brain-teasers! A fascinating photo nonetheless.

I can't identify the three sets of three, but it all looks fascinating: the rust and the round holes in the metal, the head of the pipe with its dual color of light grey and tame orange. Great macro picture!

Three parts to the pipe (gray orange gray)? Three indentations in the orange part? What am I missing? I'll come back.

3 holes, 3 indents, and 3 cylinder parts to the hose? Are you going to let us know what you see?

Hmmm, I see two...three holes aren't the same...

OK, for the curious, the three threes which I saw were these:
1) Three objects: the tire rim, the staple holding it to the wall, and the hose nozzle stuck in its center.
2) Three holes: two small and one large. There are other holes, but they don't stand out in this shot.
3) Three indentations on the orange band of the hose nozzle.

Some others saw other threes, and they are correct!

Thanks for participating in my little puzzle!

The 3 sections of the hose..... the three holes in the rusty wheel and the 3 indentations in the wheel. Makes a good picture.
