Birch Bark
Birch trees are beautiful. They always look clean to me, with their white bark which glows in almost every light. But just like everything else in the world, the birch needs periodic renewal. The leaves fall and are replaced by new ones each spring; and the bark has to be renewed as the tree grows. This shows papery old bark pulling away from its replacement. Spring is here!

I first heard about the birch tree in connection to some of its medical properties .
In your picture one can clearly see the old bark being replaced by the new. This beautiful process of renewal happens in Spring with everything in Nature.
Looks too much like skin!
