Credit Where It is Due
I like to make photographs, and I enjoy being praised for what I have done. But God teaches a different attitude, one of thankfulness and humility. He pointed that out to me recently. I DO NOT MAKE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS ALONE. I didn't create the light, or the technology which makes photography possible. I didn't buy my camera, it was a gift from my husband. I didn't give myself the ability to see through the camera in order to make an image which others find pleasing. It is right to use what I have been given to the best of my ability, but it is wrong to take credit for what I have not done. God made the light, the elements which are used to manufacture the camera, and the world from which these images come. He has given me gifts: people to teach me, eyes to see with, and a brain to process information. I am thankful for these gifts. He deserves all the praise, not I.

Beautiful! the Bleeding Heart is one of my favorite plants.
What a great shot of the bleeding heart. This was my Mothers favourite plant. I have several in my garden now
Beautiful, Dimple! Now that I look at your domestic bleeding heart, I really see the resemblance to the one here in Florida (it's almost like the colors are reversed). We used to grow bleeding heart in our Oregon garden, but I guess it's been so long I've forgotten.
Your picture is just beautiful!
Love this!

ANNI'S RUBY TUESDAY
Beautiful flowers! :)
O, this makes me think of my dad. He grew bleeding hearts on each side of our front steps. They never failed to bloom and please
Love your blog facelift! I just figured out why I couldn't work out the link gadget in the way that you described it. It was because I was working under "old editor". So now I'm on "updated editor" and the menu with "link" on it looks the way you described it. I have so many more new options with the updated editor so I'm a happy blogger!

Lovely image, Dimple! Thank you for your comment today! Very thoughtful.
Their charm is striking. I like not only the heart-shaped flowers, but also their thin arching stems.
The picture is a strong one showing an entire cycle on one stem: a flowering bleeding heart, two declining in appearance, and one dying. Very cool!
for sure and it is SO pretty dimple!
it looks like a red mama and ruby papa and three little kids[two girls and a baby brother!]
i really really love it!...love terry
