I converted this pink lily to black and white using a blue filter.
I liked blue better than green because the effect was gentler.

Lily, this chief of flowers with six petals, sweet scent and rich symbolism - looks better to me in white and black than in pink.

I like the B&W study Dimple. Fun isn't it. You might want to try a red filter. When I do conversions, I'll usually try half a dozen before I'm satisfied. Then I always give the contrast curve a little tweak -- very important for a B&W conversion.
The black and white helps make the stamen and pistils stand out.
I love the Lily in this black and white! Very pretty!
B&W sure makes you see things differently.
I live in the city, so few deer, but the squirrels! Man, can they eat bulbs.
I like the B&W effect. I need to get off my butt and learn how to do photo editing.

Loving the lily photos. It always amazes me that you can stick a bulb or seed in the ground, add some water, and God does the rest!
