When my children were young, they called these
volcano clouds.
I suppose it was because the clouds looked hot
And molten
It is a wonderful reminder of my children

stunning colors! yes, they look like coming from an erupting volcano. beautiful and dramatic.
The Gem State is awash with color upstairs! The clouds do have that boiling look of lava. But this eruption is lovely, and really safe to be around. The tops of the evergreens sit so pretty against the pastel heavens!
It think volcano clouds appropriately names the spectacular display above. Blazing hot & lovely!
