Credit Where It is Due
I like to make photographs, and I enjoy being praised for what I have done. But God teaches a different attitude, one of thankfulness and humility. He pointed that out to me recently. I DO NOT MAKE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS ALONE. I didn't create the light, or the technology which makes photography possible. I didn't buy my camera, it was a gift from my husband. I didn't give myself the ability to see through the camera in order to make an image which others find pleasing. It is right to use what I have been given to the best of my ability, but it is wrong to take credit for what I have not done. God made the light, the elements which are used to manufacture the camera, and the world from which these images come. He has given me gifts: people to teach me, eyes to see with, and a brain to process information. I am thankful for these gifts. He deserves all the praise, not I.

Beautiful flowers!!!!! Mickie ;)
So pretty!
Sometimes, I envy those people working in flower shops for being amidst such a concert of colors, shapes and fragrances.
Just looking at the flowers in your picture, life becomes brighter.

This picture is special. My first husband’s mother and father had greenhouses. After he died from complication of being gased in WWI, she sold the greenhouses but kept the flower shot[ We married and I taught school til she was diagnosed with lung cancer and 3 weeks later died/. I quit teaching and became a florist and did that for about 5 years....hard work that takes you away from your children at all of the holidays. There is nothing like a good florist and I feel sure your friend’s shop is divine. The flowers are beautiful and the shot is divine. That daisy is out of this world. I just saw your comment and wanted to be sure you saw the suggestions Joh gave me for the begonia and the daylily. He is so generous with his time to help people like me who are the beginners. Take care and have a good week. genie ps...now every time I think of you I think of Hobbit Land :-)
