Near Scottsbluff, Nebraska, is man-made Minatare Lake.
Nebraska has no ocean shoreline,
but those who designed this lake chose to put in a "lighthouse."
One can enter this structure,
and climb the (very narrow) stairs,
To see the lake and the weather.
As you can see, the water was quite high when I was there.
I enjoyed our visit!

There's a sense of M.M - Mystery and Might, about the lake and the lighthouse, that you've managed to capture perfectly in your photos.
Of course, the W/B color adds some drama to the images displayed.
I think it's a great idea, a lighthouse on a lake. Beautiful.

There is a similar {but shorter} tower located just outside Deadwood which was built as a tribute to Teddy Roosevelt.
No lake to view there, but sure lots of beauty anyway.
This lighthouse is beautiful, and the pictures you took as always, are really special.
Nebraska must be such a lovely place!
