Same trees, different conversions
This was converted to black and white in the normal way. I like the mood
the somewhat dim and very green light has
in this version.
This one, though, has had an infrared conversion. It makes the green leaves white--
I think they look like flowers--and the mood is entirely different.

Very different feelings to the two treatments. Very interesting comparison.
Interresting! The last picture also reminds me of new snow melting away on warmer ground. The contrasts creates perhaps a bit more awareness than the softer tones in the first one. Wish you a nice weekend!

I like the mood too in both of them.
I like #1. It gives me a good feeling of depth. #2 doesn't do anything for me.

The monochrome emphasizes how vertical the tree trunks are or are not.
I love the second especially.
Interesting conversions. The second one almost looks like wintertime.
One image, two versions: a dim one and a bright one.
The first version looks more natural, as it is usually dark in a forest.

I use a Kodak EasyShare M340 camera.
I often wish I could have more control over the focus, as I like to do macro work and the camera doesn't like to focus on what is close, but in general I am happy with it.
