Credit Where It is Due
I like to make photographs, and I enjoy being praised for what I have done. But God teaches a different attitude, one of thankfulness and humility. He pointed that out to me recently. I DO NOT MAKE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS ALONE. I didn't create the light, or the technology which makes photography possible. I didn't buy my camera, it was a gift from my husband. I didn't give myself the ability to see through the camera in order to make an image which others find pleasing. It is right to use what I have been given to the best of my ability, but it is wrong to take credit for what I have not done. God made the light, the elements which are used to manufacture the camera, and the world from which these images come. He has given me gifts: people to teach me, eyes to see with, and a brain to process information. I am thankful for these gifts. He deserves all the praise, not I.

The moon is small, but the light powerful in this view. The look of the moon sits higher than the tall evergreens of the Gem State. Below, the pine boughs perfectly frame the lunar orb above. Such lovely skies in the Northwest, so heavenly, so wide. Stunning!
The moon was lovely this week.
Love the last one framed by the pine!!

Oh, I love those daytime moon shots! :) Very nicely captured.
Thanks for playing along.
Happy Friday from your Looking At The Sky on Friday friends!
I love the moon in the morning! I really like the way you framed it in the 2nd shot.
You and I did exactly the same thing! Amazing how similar our shots are! Fun to catch them like that, isn't it? Yours really are lovely and you did get a better view of the moon than I did.
Have a great weekend!

The moon - the ultimate photographic subject!
PS Thank you for the comment. BTW, "vilde blomster" means "wild flowers", in a slightly old-fashioned spelling.
I wonder if it is possible to have taken a photo of the same identical Moon. They sure look the same.

I like the way you framed the moon in the second photo!

I'm glad you had gotten ready in time to go back in for your camera. There are mornings I wish I had mine, but I don't leave time to come back in in the mornings. I have taken some with my iphone camera, but there is no zoom on it.
Lovely shots!
You caught a wonderful shot of the moon this morning. I couldn't get it without wires, but I'm glad I caught it when I did because when I came back it had "disappeared." :)
You know how to frame the moon!
Wonderful moon capture against your clear blue skies surrounded by branches ;-)
Hugs and blessings,

Wonderful shot! I like how you framed the moon between the trees! You have a good eye!
