Credit Where It Is Due

Credit Where It is Due

I like to make photographs, and I enjoy being praised for what I have done. But God teaches a different attitude, one of thankfulness and humility. He pointed that out to me recently. I DO NOT MAKE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS ALONE. I didn't create the light, or the technology which makes photography possible. I didn't buy my camera, it was a gift from my husband. I didn't give myself the ability to see through the camera in order to make an image which others find pleasing. It is right to use what I have been given to the best of my ability, but it is wrong to take credit for what I have not done. God made the light, the elements which are used to manufacture the camera, and the world from which these images come. He has given me gifts: people to teach me, eyes to see with, and a brain to process information. I am thankful for these gifts. He deserves all the praise, not I.

Bench of the Week

This is actually a picnic table--but it has benches! It comes apart like a puzzle so it can be stored flat or carried in your vehicle. It's not very big, but it is handy! To see more benches, visit Visual Norway.

Is this one you or a family member made? It is a neat idea. I like the portability of it. The top of the table looks in sad shape. . . I have a bench that comes apart to store for the winter IF I used it outdoors also. Come and see MY bench!

Wow, isn't that handy! I'd love to have one of those to take on trips!

That was a new variation to me - a collapsible picnic table with benches included! It looks extremely practical and especially for the camping community.

PS Thank you for the pleasant comment! :-)

PERBS-The table is handmade, by a former teacher my son had in high school. I bought it at a school fund raiser.

There are many variatons of collapsible table/benches/chairs. I like this one as it is handmade and bought to help a good cause.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am truly enjoying reading all about everyone and seeing their pictures. Nice way to share your thoughts and pics. It is like visiting all around without leaving your computer chair. I am enjoying your blogs. Very nice. I am still a novice in the blog world. Have a great weekend.

A wonderful idea to have a collapsible picnic table and benches to take with you on a drive. There will always be a table and seat available.
