Credit Where It is Due
I like to make photographs, and I enjoy being praised for what I have done. But God teaches a different attitude, one of thankfulness and humility. He pointed that out to me recently. I DO NOT MAKE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS ALONE. I didn't create the light, or the technology which makes photography possible. I didn't buy my camera, it was a gift from my husband. I didn't give myself the ability to see through the camera in order to make an image which others find pleasing. It is right to use what I have been given to the best of my ability, but it is wrong to take credit for what I have not done. God made the light, the elements which are used to manufacture the camera, and the world from which these images come. He has given me gifts: people to teach me, eyes to see with, and a brain to process information. I am thankful for these gifts. He deserves all the praise, not I.

I can't believe that's the lobby of an office building! If any of the offices I'd ever worked in looked like that, I might have kept on working! Beautiful photos!
The lobby is unusual. The offices are more normal!
What a lovely bench and what an unusual and attractive office building! It does look peaceful - I think having lots of plants in a building makes it have a good atmosphere too.
This reminds me a bit of an office interior I worked in while in London, England, sans the wood. The wood here combined with plants and many windows to allow in light would provide a perfect place for me to sit awhile. Very, very nice.
Not all such buildings use living plants, and that is very important if this sort of building shall work. And here it does.
If only there were more places dotted about like this... it dose look restful...
I have park benches this week.

Such lovely bench in this special inviting place! Love the ironwork detail but the baord slats are placed beautifully too. Drop by and see mine.
My friend, malyss in France also has a bench blog. Did you visit hers?
Thank you for visiting my blog!
I just discovered your picture of this wonderful bench, located in a special place. I like all this wood, the plants, that make a natural setting. The bench perfectly matches with the location and is terribly inviting!
Very inviting lobby
