Cups

A Bee's View

Flowers
I found this flower recently while on a walk.
Each blossom is very small, about 1/2 inch across.
I don't know what the plant is called,
but it is beautiful.

Lady Slipper
These are Lady Slipper orchids. I have a small clump of these wildflowers growing in a flower bed.
They grow about a foot high, and are often yellow instead of white.
The Fairy Slipper, which I posted earlier this year, is much smaller.

Grass Flower
The grass loves the weather we've been having: cool and wet.
Where I haven't mowed it, it is flowering.
I was pleased and amazed when I saw this shot;
The flower was in focus!
I could see anthers, with yellow pollen, and pistils.
At least I think the white tendrils are pistils...
So, of course, I had to post it!
